Week 15: Lion - A Long Way From Home

This is a true story about a boy named Saroo. Saroo was young when was separated from his family at a train station. He was left alone on the streets for a couple of days before he was put into an orphanage.

New parents from Australia adopt him and he flies to Tasmania to start a new life.

When he is older he decides to search for his family in India, using symbols from google maps and memories he has.

I really liked this book because it was a true story about a boy loosing his family. It made me cry, but there were some happy parts too. Maybe better for children over 11.
