Week 39: The Turnkey

I was lucky to get this book in the mail, a signed copy for me. Alison Rushby used to go to school with my mum.

The Turnkey is about a twelve year old girl named Flossie, who is a ghost that lives in London. She is now the 'Turnkey' of the cemetery she lives in. The Turnkey is a person who looks after the cemetery and protects the cemetery from bad people who come at night. One night in World War II, when the Germans were bombing everywhere, Flossie saw a German carrying a weird box through the cemetery.

She wants to find out how he got in, what he is doing with the box and what's inside the box. Will Flossie find the answers and help save London, or will it be too late?

This book has a great plot which made me want to keep reading.
