A girl named Bea Kingsley and her grandma, travel to an island where people live with dinosaurs. She goes there to try and find her explorer parents, who went missing when she was a baby.

She meets a dangerous explorer who traps and kills dinosaurs. Bea asks questions about her parents which lead her and her grandma into danger and trouble.

This book has lots of adventure and danger. It has a lot of descriptive words which help you visualise the island.

This book is probably going to be enjoyed by dinosaur lovers, or people interested in exploring and history of dinosaurs.
