The book describes the roles Quidditch has, which include: The Keeper (who has to protect the goals), Beaters (who have to hit a ball with the bat), The Chasers (who have to score goals) and the Seeker (who has to grab the Golden Snitch and makes their team win.)

The book also tells about the rules of the game and what is a penalty or cheating in Quidditch.
